Satire on salsa dancers. The shadow depicts a living couple, while only one of the actual dancers is a skeleton.
MIKE CASEY
Trenchard depicts Mr. Casey in calavera (skeleton) as Grand Marshal of the King William Parade, with one of his roosters on the back seat of his bicycle.
DEMOLITION
Satire on a medical group, which purchased a Victorian home, so they could demolish it and build a medical clinic in its place. A candle lit vigil was staged by the neighborhood the night before the building was demolished.
PGA GO AWAY
Satire on an effort by community activists to stop the PGA from building a large quantity of homes and golf course on land sitting on top of the fragile Edwards Aquifer, source of clean water for San Antonio. The art work was framed and presented to the lawyer, who represented the activists, pro bono, opposed to the project.
