The Bartender was working a New Orleans garden reception, when Trenchard focused on her subject in the background. Her sister and cousin were chatting, wine glasses in hand, in the foreground. Trenchard used special dappled printed paper to achieve the effect of a sunlit courtyard in this cut paper slice of local color.
